Trent Simmons

Trent Simmons is the Chief Executive Officer of Hardeman. He is responsible for strategic direction, profitability, and effective communication across an array of majority owned businesses. Trent maintains direct control of mergers and acquisitions sourcing, execution, and investment management. Additionally, Trent leads family investment positions in real estate, mineral rights management, and public securities.

In conjunction with founding Hardeman, Trent has served over the past 10 years in every segment of business to include ranch operations, retail marketing, consumer sales, operations management, and board of directors administration.

Trent spent two years as a professional Tri-Athlete and trained with TriSutto in Switzerland. He graduated from University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business with a BBA in Business Administration and Management. He grew up in Dallas, Texas, where he is now blessed to live with his wife and three children. He serves on the Finance Board of The Covenant School.

Grant Farrell

Grant Farrell is the Chief Financial Officer of Hardeman. He is responsible for financial oversight, reporting, and effective financial management across an array of majority owned businesses. Grant maintains direct control of due diligence, valuation, and negotiating responsibilities of potential acquisitions as well as financial and operational oversight of the existing portfolio of Hardeman. Additionally, Grant serves as the President of two portfolio companies owned or managed by Hardeman. Farrell & Hornberger, LLC and TriKnight, LLC.

Prior to joining Hardemam, Grant started his career at KPMG serving in the audit and assurance practice and transaction services groups. He spent over a decade providing business valuation opinions and litigation support services within a boutique and national business valuation firm. Grant has amassed significant business valuation experience in professional sports and the oil and gas industries, as well as intangible asset valuation expertise.

Grant graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BS in Economics. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Texas, an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in business valuation from the American Society of Appraisers and an active member in various business performance groups throughout the DFW area. He grew up and lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife and three sons. He serves in various functions at Watermark Community Church and The Covenant School.

Andrew Milton “Milt” Calloway

Andrew Milton “Milt” Calloway is responsible for daily oversight of Hardeman’s construction holdings in Hardeman Construction Group. Additionally, Milt leads Hardeman’s mergers and acquisitions process, with a specific focus on opportunity screening, operational due diligence and investment fit, and contract structure and negotiation.

Prior to joining Hardeman, Milt was an associate for a lower market mergers and acquisitions advisory firm in Austin, Texas where he specialized in client due diligence, financial recasting, and investment marketing. He also served as an officer in the US Air Force for over five years, where he was privileged to lead multiple high-performing teams in both corporate and combat environments worldwide.

Milt graduated with honors from the US Air Force Academy with a BS in Economics, and from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business with an MS in Finance. He grew up on a small ranch near La Grange, Texas, where he was blessed to establish a foundation of faith, community, and resourcefulness. Milt is a member of the faith-based investors group, Ambassadors Impact Network, and attends church at Christ the King Catholic Church.

Andrew Simmons

Andrew Simmons is the President of Hardeman. He works with the leadership teams of the various Hardeman companies to help build alignment of culture, vision, and goals. Additionally, Andrew serves as the President of Tristar Producer Services, the flagship company started in 1992. With nearly a decade of experience managing both non-profit and for-profit organizations, Andrew is passionate about building healthy, growth-oriented companies.

Andrew started his career in ministry as an executive director where he oversaw all facets of church management, which included strategic planning and execution of ministry programs. After his ministry career, Andrew began working with the Provision House, managing all facets of the business including ranching operations, supply chain, operations, and sales and marketing efforts. During this time, Andrew began his tenure as President of Tristar Producer Services, leading all sales and marketing efforts, and managing all accounting and gas scheduling staff.

Andrew graduated from the University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business with a BBA in Finance. Additionally, he graduated from Redeemer Seminary with a Master’s in Religion. He grew up in Dallas, Texas and lives in Allen with his wife and six children.

Moses Varghese

Moses Varghese is the Founder and President of Lumos Technology Services, a cybersecurity and managed services firm in the Hardeman portfolio. Moses saw that so many companies were underserved when it came to cybersecurity, leaving them extremely vulnerable to threats to the growth and operations of their businesses. This created a desire in him to build an IT company focusing on equipping small and medium sized businesses to run efficient operations with a solid and secure architecture.

Prior to founding Lumos, Moses worked as Director of IT for a healthcare data aggregation firm, giving him a strong working knowledge of healthcare data security and regulations. Moses has eighteen years of experience in information technology, with a specialty in data security, systems administration, and data center infrastructure architecture.

Moses graduated from Arizona State University’s Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering with an MS in Information Technology. He is an active member in his church and is blessed to work in a field that he enjoys, with a team that honors core values of integrity and humility. He lives in Colleyville, Texas with his wife and four children.
